Research has indicated that at least seventy percent of chemically dependent patients have additional psychiatric disorders that if not diagnosed and treated properly from the outset adversely affects the outcome of treatment. The Dual Diagnosis Treatment Program at Synergy is designed to help those patients who have difficulty maintaining abstinence. The goal of our Dual Diagnosis Program is to accurately determine the patients mental state and treat the patients psychological disorder and chemical dependency simultaneously to achieve a positive synergistic outcome.
